About the course
Process art is an approach to art experiences that focuses on the creative journey rather than the finished product. In early childhood education, process art encourages children to explore materials, experiment with ideas, and express themselves freely without the pressure of creating something that looks a specific way. Instead of following step-by-step directions or copying a teacher's example, children make their own choices about the materials they use, the techniques they try, and the outcomes they create. This child-centered approach recognizes that the learning that occurs during the creative process is far more valuable than the appearance of the final artwork.
