About the course
This 2-hour, instructor-led webinar is designed to help early childhood educators create engaging, developmentally appropriate large-group experiences for preschool children. Participants will explore practical strategies for using music, movement, stories, conversations, questioning, and hands-on participation to keep young children actively involved in learning. The course will also address appropriate expectations for preschoolers, positive classroom management, transitions, and ways to adapt large-group activities to meet the needs of different learners. Through instructor guidance, examples, and discussion, educators will leave with practical ideas they can immediately use to make large-group time engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable for every child.
Fun, interactive large group for preschoolers.
Large-group time is an opportunity to bring children together to learn, connect, communicate, and have fun. Make every group experience meaningful by including movement, music, stories, conversation, and opportunities for children to actively participate. Remember that young children learn best when they are engaged rather than simply expected to sit and listen. Observe children's responses, adjust your approach when needed, and create an environment where every child feels included and successful. Make large-group time a part of the day that children look forward to!
